The 10th Annual Independence Day Celebration will be held on July 3rd at the Eldon Airpark.
Bring your family and spend the day. We'll kick-off with a 5K Run/Walk at 7:30 a.m. Later there will be craft booths, food vendors, music, free swim, games and activities for all ages.
What's an Independence Day Celebration without a parade? Head downtown where the parade begins at 6:00 p.m.
But we're saving the best for last! We'll close out the day with a giant fireworks display at dusk accompanied by patriotic music simulcast courtesy of KS-95 Radio at 95.1 FM. You'll want to come early to get a good spot to watch the fireworks because folks come from "far and wide" to watch our display! We want to thank Lloyd Belt Motor Group who has sponsored the fireworks display all these years.
