The city-wide garage sales and clean-up are just around the corner. Garage sales will be Saturday, September 11th and clean-up will be the week of September 13th.  This is a good time to get your home and yard organized for winter. 

Crews begin on the north side of Highway 54 Monday & Tuesday and pick up on the south side on Wednesday & Thursday. Citizens are advised to set their items out on Sunday.

Crews are not allowed to pick up appliances (stove, refridgerators, hot water heaters, washers, dryers), construction materials, yard waste, tires, paint, freon, batteries and other items not allowed in landfills.

People with prohibited materials may call Allied Waste at 392-3900 to ask what they recommend for disposal of those items.
